pink snow

This morning's sunrise gives a touch of pink to the fresh snow after the
storm of last night.

The view from the office window, which is at ground level,
~ fresh snow and a brilliant blue sky.

I just wanted to share these pictures with you today.  We had about 20 cm.
of snow last night - a nor'easter.  The skiers and snowmobilers will
be very happy with all the new snow.  Tonight it is going to be very cold -
down to -21 C by morning.  Brrrrr!

Stay warm!

Blessings,
Pamela

  1. So very pretty! Love the brilliant blue skies and the pinkish snow...winter can be such a lovely time...if you bundle up against those cold temperature! We are supposed to get -20'c tonight with what they call a deep freeze.
Yes, warm woolies and cosy quilts are a comfort on these cold evenings.
It has been perfect conditions for the skiers and snowmobilers...

  6. Pamela,
Your photo is lovely, pink snow in the morning, how nice!
You are finally getting real Winter weather! We got some fresh snow last night, only 5 centimeters, compared to your 20! And yet this is more snow than they normally get here and they are already gearing up to be prepared for one of the worst floods in history, can you believe it?!?
