lilacs in a basket
My dear blog friend Vee, at "A Haven For Vee",
has challenged us to choose 4 of our favorite photos
that could be used for note cards.
Join me for a Note Card Photo Party at Vee's.
ticking stripe straw mattress at Kings Landing Historical Settlement
This was a real challenge for me as I have thousands
of photos to choose from.
These are just a few of my favorites.
birdies in the garden
I use a lot of my photos for greeting cards that I make
from card stock and envelopes I purchase.
It is inexpensive to print the photos at a print machine
at a local store so I save a lot of money making my own cards.

Oh, Pam, those are amazing. I'd buy any or all of them. =D I think my favorite is the one of King's Landing or maybe birdies in the garden. Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness...... your photos would make the most gorgeous note cards! It must have been very difficult to choose.
ReplyDeleteFriends,
Susannah
You certainly chose some beautiful photographs for the note card meme......they all would be perfect......
ReplyDeleteYes I agree with Vee, I like the kings landing the best tho they all are amazing. I was wondering how you would ever choose!
ReplyDeleteVery good. I make my own cards too. Mostly I paint each one by hand but I try to stay ahead. I will be using some photos now. This was a good idea.
ReplyDeleteQMM
All are beautiful, I especially like the one with the ticking. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSue
It's such a personal touch to use one's own photo for a greeting card. These would be beautiful.

If I didn't know better, I would think that these were already postcards! I love them all, but the Lilacs are my favorite. I could almost smell their wonderful frangrance!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jann
Now following you.
You made some beautiful choices, but I have seen you have a lot to pick from. That huge gray barn a few posts back, for instance. I could never adjust to the climate, but that old house would be fun to live in. Making your own cards is not only smart, it's so personal too. I love the idea. I'm glad to hear the melt is on! I have a deep aversion to mud though. I hope you have a beautiful season!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so lovely, Pamela. What a difficult choice to make. You have a real gift for photography.
ReplyDeletePamela, you chose exquisite photos! I especially love the sunrise, but the others are also all exceptional. I would love to have a set of card such as these.
ReplyDeleteMorning Pamela, I love all your cards but particularly the "ticking one" if I saw that in a shop as a postcard I would buy it for my collection. You have made a great choice for your four, well done. Have a great day, Jackie in Surrey, UK.x
ReplyDeleteStunning photos, the sunrise at the beach is my favorite. Beautiful photography. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the lilacs, but I think my favorite is the one at the Historical Settlement. Amazing shot!
ReplyDeletehi there, i love the sunrise at Myrtle Beach. so beautiful. luv it!! i love how so many are picking different photos from their blog for the note card link up party. so cool. happy to find you. take care. (:
ReplyDeleteBirds in the Garden caught my eye. Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Great choices! I can almost smell the Lilacs!
ReplyDeleteI knew you'd have gorgeous photos. You're a wonderful photographer. Fun party. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you are a photographer! I can see every one of the photos you shared on the front of a Hallmark card! Stunning! (And yes, I realized that I ended every sentence with an exclamation point...but I am feeling exclamatory!) :D
ReplyDeleteI love these. Oh, how I wish I had the gift of photography and a photographer's eye. These are just beautiful. My very favorite of all was the first one. Stunning.
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely, what a great idea.

I really like your note cards . . . the bird on the fence post is charming. I used to make cards too, not as much anymore. I like a card where I can write my own message . . . Yours a very nice!
ReplyDeleteYours are very nice . . . once again . . . It wouldn't let me go back and correct . . . sorry!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the birds in the garden. All are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThose are all beautiful! I especially like the window and room in the second one. Dramatic lighting is always one of my favorite things! Making our own cards is fun and I think folks appreciate them more than store-bought one!
ReplyDeleteYour photography is lovely, and each one of your photos make gorgeous notecards. Now that you make your own, I'm sure everyone wants one.
ReplyDeleteKaren
Oh my! They are all beautiful! I'm having a hard time finding a favorite! I think I will say the lilacs in the basket but the birdies in the garden is just as pretty. They all look so prefessional. I could see any of these as cards in the Halmark store.
ReplyDeleteHi Pamela
ReplyDeleteEvery one you chose is fabulous but I think the sunrise speaks to me.
Judith
Well, first of all...I can tell you are a photographer...just call it sold when you show an old chair with a quilt on it...mercy. LOVE IT!!

ReplyDeleteYou made such wonderful choices Pamela. I didn't take the time to frame my e cards and I love the way you've done that! You take such beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteThe mattress is my favorite! You are so talented, are you a trained photographer?
ReplyDeleteThey are all such great photos the second one I think is my favouite.....or maybe the third....well done!!!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are gorgeous - I sure people love receiving your note cards. I was reading your bio(while waiting for my satellite internet connection - ugh) and had to chuckle at your "retired stay at home mom" title - it's one I use also.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful evening, and thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteYour photo cards are beautiful, the lilacs are stunning...Are they from your garden?
