a round barn for Barn Charm

While visiting in Edmonton, Alberta in 2009, we toured
Fort Edmonton Park.

It is a wonderfully recreated step back in time starting at a Fort with a
Hudson's Bay Trading Post and travelling through several decades
up to the 1940's I think.

I love this round barn.  I don't know the age of it or where
it was originally.

I am linking to  Barn Charm.
Come on over and visit some other beautiful barns!

Have a great day!

Blessings,
Pamela

  10. A great find. Round barns are rare. Thanks for the comment on my barn photo. Yes there is a home up the lane from the bridge I stood on to get the creek picture and probably a new barn or garage near it.

  12. Hi Pamela
A round barn is rare, never seen one in these parts. I wonder if there was an advantage to this shape?
    Great shot.

  26. I only know of one round barn in my state. It is now on the historic register and protected. It is not nearly as well preserved as this one. Nice capture.

  32. I'm having such a difficult time getting comment boxes to show up (and remain showing) on some blogs. Don't know what the problem is, but it's certainly frustrating.

    That is one fabulous barn!
