apple blossom time

It was peak apple blossom time here last weekend.

What a glorious sight!

The apple trees were a mass of white blooms.
Even the yellow dandelions beneath looked beautiful
in the bright green grass.

This is the orchard where I pick apples in the fall.
It's the farm where my hubby grew up.
{on a dairy farm before the trees were planted}

I can't get over the beauty of these pretty blooms ~ the soft pink and creamy white.

It looks like there will be a great apple crop this year.

Thank you so much for visiting and all your kind comments.

I'll be posting about St. Andrews tomorrow so I hope you will
come back and visit.

Blessings,

Pamela

  2. Gorgeous photos Pam! I didn't get any closeups this year at all. By the time the rain was done, the blossoms weren't lookin' so pretty up close...

  3. Beautiful scenery. Was it an apple farm when your husband lived there? I can just smell the blossoms. And who would have thought we would enjoy dendelions in a picture???? But we do!!! Very nice photos. Thank you.

  16. Our neighbour's apple tree overhangs our garden and was in full bloom a couple of weeks ago. I was outside and it was alive with bees. Their gentle buzzing was a nice accompaniment to my gardening.

  17. Apple blossom time.............and the prettiest blossoms around. Hope it is a bumper crop come Autumn. Your hubby sure grew up in beautiful surroundings. Love these pics Pamela. The dandelions look so pretty with the trees, adding that extra color and sunny sparkle.

    Hugs - Mary
