a newly planted field
I went for a walk this morning before the rains come.
At least we had 3 and 1/2 days of sunshine in a row!
Come along with me and see what I saw.
little green shoots
the pond
lupins and a gazebo
wild phlox along the fence
a Hawthorne tree in bloom
a huge old walnut tree
a closer look at those leaf fronds and a beautiful bench
high bush cranberry blooms
barn cat
Will you go out for a walk today?
I hope you see something interesting and pretty.
Have a wonderful day!
Blessings,
Pamela
What a beautiful walk, Pamela! Lupins just say "Eastern Canada" to me. I put in two or three last year and found one very tiny one in the garden. I hope it grows. No walk today, with my purple baby toe (a temporary glitch). :)
ReplyDeleteWe have lupins here too on the West Coast. They have just about finished blooming now. Corn is a bit higher in these parts. So fun to see what we have growing in common. Lovely walk. It's raining here today...no walking outside for me.
ReplyDeleteThat is the absolute best walk imaginable. Wow. What beautiful scenery. I couldn't be more jealous stuck here at work. Just stumbled upon your blog and will be back again for sure.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your walk very much! I do like the very blue lupins. I don't have any of these, but I think I will look out for some seed for next year. I like phlox, I have to buy mine! I don't know whether we have it growing wild over here. I especially like the big trees in the first picture. You live in a very beautiful area.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful walk! Mine is only houses, sidewalks, driveways, busy streets, etc. Oh to live in the country!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! And, what a view you have into the valley below. Yes, I am staying in a hotel today, but will go for a walk after lunch. It will be limited because I understand security isn't the best off the hotel grounds. :\ Such a shame. We leave tomorrow so walks will be easier. :)
ReplyDeleteJust got back from the lake....too much to do today, but will try to squeeze in a walk! Your walk is much like mine...in the country. So many marvelous things that you see early in the morning. Great and interesting photos, as usual. I love the one with the fence and the flowers(the name escapes me right now). hAVE A PLEASANT DAY.
ReplyDeleteRaining here today. But I enjoyed your walk! Especially the lupines.
ReplyDeleteNope. Not today. I'm still in my nighty at 1 in the afternoon. I think I'll leave it that way and focus on cleaning and the nasty stuff.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos of your walk. I enjoyed seeing the blossoms and the lupines and the phlox along the fence.
Fabulous pictures, Pamela!! Just gorgeous! I'm not sure I've ever seen a Hawthorne in bloom before, nor cranberry blossoms. I really enjoyed my walk to you!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice place for a walk. I won't be going walking today since I missed it early today. It's too HOT!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful flowers and plants on your walk!
ReplyDeleteThank God for the sunshine to make it all pop.
That is a wonderful walk...We walk everyday here at home, but not in such lovely surroundings as you...subdivision style here...
ReplyDeleteBut.....when we are at the cottage, it's a whole different ball game...
Thanks for taking me along...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
