waiting for spring

I took these photos one of the sunny days earlier this month when it wasn't so bitterly cold and I could go for a walk.

I love the bright red building against the white world around it and the tire swing waiting for someone to come along and play on it.

I am linking up with these blog parties ~

and

Won't you join us?

Wishing you a wonderful week.

  6. Nice pictures, Pamela - won't it be nice when the snow starts to melt?

  7. I love the red of the barn. Even in the snow the rope swing looks inviting. I picture kids swinging away on it and jumping off into a big snowbank.

  8. It does look a little dormant. I like the "barn red"! That's probably a popular place when it's open.

  9. Great picture! Love that red in the winter landscape. I know what you mean about it being too cold to go out (at least not for long) we hit 2 degrees and had lots of snow last week. Thank goodness it's warmed up a bit again. That swing takes me back to some fun times as a kid!

  10. Too bad it's a tire and not a swing with a seat so you could have had a little fun and kicked up some snow Pamela! Isn't that red stunning against the snow.

Husband had surgery on is foot last wekk and I have been pretty busy around here. Hope all is well with you.
