a blessed Easter

the Anglican church at Kings Landing Historical Settlement

I have the flu.  :-(
The kind that makes every bone, joint and muscle in your body ache.  Today is our practice for the music we're doing at church tomorrow for Easter and I am missing it.  It's a beautiful
sunny spring day and I'm enjoying the view from the inside as I rest.

However, the pain I am enduring is so minor compared to the pain
Jesus endured on Calvary's cross for the sins of mankind.  My pain has helped me keep in perspective the horrible death He endured for me and for you.
I am truly thankful for His great love and that he has risen from the grave of death to live in heaven at the Father's right hand.
One day I will see Him face to face.
What a glorious day that will be!

From our home to yours ~

I wish you a blessed Easter!

Blessings and love to each of you!

Pamela

  1. What a beautiful message an d post. I totally agree. I am so sorry you are ill, and I empathize! I can't go tomorrow because of the Easter lilies, which I am extremely allergic too. But it doesn't change the joy and blessing of the day! Happy Easter and recover quickly!

  15. I know how much you love your church choir and the music you practice to share with the community. You will be missed for sure...................but hopefully somehow it will be recorded for you. So very sorry you have been hit with the 'flu dear, hope it doesn't keep you down for too long - you are far too sweet to be ill at any time. Easter is so special to those of our faith and your lovely words certainly are meaningful to me.

Hang in there, rest up, and get better soon.............meanwhile know that blessings are flying your way!
