all aboard on the birthday train

Get on board the birthday train.

Mr. Monkey is the engineer.
And he has his friends the elephant, the puppy and the duck with him.

Our oldest grandson is two so I used 2 blue candles.

The paint colours are nearly worn off.

The back side view.

All aboard!
The birthday train is leaving.

Choooo Whooooo!!!

I can't remember where I found this sweet vintage candle holder but it was in a family household and I think it's adorable.  Don't you?

Linking with Old Time Party at
Cindy's Old Time Farmhouse.
The party is a monthly event and she is having a sweet giveaway if you live in the US.
You can link anything with "down on the farm flair".  Come over and visit.  Just click on the link.

Enjoy your weekend!

Blessings,

Pamela

  6. I guess I'd better comment and say that the birthday boy was 2 last September and no, I wasn't there to celebrate it. :( These are in my china cupboard and he's far away. Pamela

  7. It is a sweet little set; before you said you had found it at a sale, I had thought perhaps it was something you used with your children when they were little. It looks like someone enjoyed playing with each the cute little pieces.
