late afternoon sunlight

Along the trail in Fort McMurray on a late February afternoon.

The late afternoon sun shining in on our grandson's baby seat.  ;)
{Oh how I miss him and his big brother.}

Afternoon sun shining on our dining table.

    Aw, I can tell you're missing your g'sons!
    I love the shadows cast on the babies seat and your pretty tulips.
    What is it about shadows that are so beautiful?
    Happy Sunday!

  9. Lovely photos of the sunlight. Isn't it amazing how much longer the days have gotten already? The tulips are gorgeous, too. I'm sure you are missing your grandchildren and I bet they're missing you, too. I am always amazed at how quickly children grow; surely we are not aging as rapidly. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

  12. Beautiful pictures. That is one thing I miss in our house is that we really don't get the sun shining through the windows. But we do have a wonderful sun porch that we can sit in.

  20. The chair looks so sweet and inviting for the newest member of your family, Pamela. Given the first photo, he and his brother are growing up in a beautiful part of the country. (I know, too far from you.)

    The tulips look fantastic with the light shining threw them. I picked up a bouquet last evening and, like yours, they're in a white jug. I imagine they'll make their way to my blog too!

  24. Oh I do love the sunlight. I am definitely in need of some given the non-stop snowfall these past few days.

  25. We sure could use a little sunshine around here to light our Sunday. It has been a very gloomy week. I will live vicariously through your sunshine and your pink tulips. Love them.

  35. Love these photos. The child carrier highlighted by the sun is precious. Makes you feel dreamy about the little one that sits in it. The beautiful tulips look wonderful in the white pitcher, and you captured a beautiful sunlit shot! I think I need another bouquet of them myself! Mine lasted a week and I think that's a good value!
