an old page wire fence

An old page wire farm fence and cedar posts.
Photos taken 2 weeks ago so that snow is most likely gone.

Linking to FRIDAY'S FENCES.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Page wire fences...now that brings back memories of my childhood. Beautiful photos...'page wire fence in the snow'. Maybe you could show the same scene in a few weeks time with the dandelions blooming along the fence line.

  5. That's a lot of snow...or WAS a lot of snow! It makes for beautiful photos of the old fence!

  6. Mercifully, it goes quickly once it starts to go. I'm sure that it's brown now with just a bit of grass greening up. I found that my chives are up through and as green as green can be. That was my highpoint for yesterday. ☺

Love the artsy quality of these shots...fine subjects for framing.

  9. Glad to hear that's not new snow. We're watching it fall this morning but the good news is it will be half the accumulation we had two weeks ago ...time will tell. Baking, blogging and watching curling again this weekend.

  11. Great old fence photos. But I'm so glad you said that the snow is almost gone. Spring is here, and I hope it's there, on the other end of the country.

  22. Lovely photos! There is just something about an old page wire fence that always appeals to me. I have done a couple of cross stitched pieces that included page wire fences as part of the design. Our snow is mostly gone. Just a few stubborn banks in shaded areas left.
