summer fields

Some recent shots of the fields around our house.  I love the long grasses waving in the summer breeze and the wild flowers (and weeds) growing along side the fields and even among the grain and grass.

This is one of the weeds.  They grow very tall.

Weeds and flowers can look pretty sometimes don't you think?

I hope you are enjoying your summer.
Can you believe it's already August?
Thank you for visiting.

Blessings to you,

Pamela

  6. I love wildflowers and "weeds" - they seem to know just where to grow so they are the prettiest.

  7. Beautiful fields! Wildflowers are so pretty. We don't have big fields of flowers around here. It's mostly horse farms and they keep the fields mowed.

  11. I know what you mean about weeds looking interesting as I came upon a patch of thistle recently, and it looked as pretty as a bouquet of flowers.

I just saw your visit with Judy, Pamela! That must have been so much fun and Minter Gardens looked like a beautiful place to visit with her.

  12. I love the weeds also...but they seem very determined to keep the roadsides trimmed around here...makes it harder to get a good photo. LOL.

  16. The fields provide you with a lovely, changeable view, especially not that the trees have been thinned a bit. Your header is gorgeous!

  18. The fields are so pretty! I love seeing wildflowers. I can't believe that I just saw them as pesky weeds when I was much younger!

  19. A wild flower meadow is so free and easy, so the occasional wild flower, I mean weed, is no problem at all. xx

  20. Lovely summer shots, Pamela. Some of the most interesting plants/flowers are considered by some to be 'weeds' - lends truth to 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.

    Enjoy your week.
