Christmas shopping

Are you ready for some Christmas shopping?

There is a beautiful little shop in downtown Fredericton called
Savour Decor.
Owner and personal friend, Janice, chooses beautiful home decor items, giftware and furnishings for her shop that will please everyone.

She has recently brought in some local re-purposed vintage furniture and some gorgeous bevelled glass topped tables with driftwood tree stump bases.

One of the glass topped tables laden with beautiful things for your home.

A vintage china cabinet with a new paint job.  Isn't it pretty?

Don't you love this old wooden door with coat hooks on it?

I love these birch log tea light holders.

Do you see anything you like yet?
{the photographer is not for sale!}

The wood bench is made locally.

I bought one of the little sparkly birds on this table, along with a few other items for gifts.

This is Janice. {Summer 2012}

And this is Savour Decor.

Savour Decor is located on Queen St. in downtown Fredericton across the street from City Hall which you can see reflected in the windows.

If you're ever in Fredericton be sure to drop in.
Tell her Pam sent you.  ;)

Have a beautiful day.

Blessings,

Pamela

  7. Your friend's shop is just the kind I would love to visit! You got some good shots of the items she carries for her customers. Christmas will be here before we know it! I wish my fireplace would be done this year, but will just have to decorate around it...next year!! Have a great day my friend!

  12. Pamela, what a beautiful shop! That repainted china cabinet and wooden door with the hooks are adorable!! I love the white headboard and the whole bed vignette, too! Janice is a talented lady who knows how to shop!!

    Downtown Fredericton looks lovely; it's on my wishlist, along with all the Eastern provinces, they're so, so pretty!!!

  13. Nothing like a downtown shop for gifts and decor. This is much nicer than going in to the big box stores, but unfortunately the little shop owners suffer as they can't compete. I saw lots of things I liked Pam, and I bought another silver bird myself last week.

  26. I'm not one to fight the crowds in stores. I try to do most of my shopping online, but the problem is I usually put it off too long and have to go shopping anyway. LOL!

  27. Oh this looks like an amazing store! I would love to poke around there with you Pamela. I started doing some Christmas shopping today and just put out a few pre-Christmas decorations in the last few days. I love the beauty of Christmas.

  29. Pam,
    Thanks for stopping by. I love this time of year and I love to make things - that is the hardest thing about the CD. Been reading a lot.

  30. Wow, lovely shop. I love that little blue painted desk(?) in the one image. Matter of fact I loved too many things. Probably a good thing that I don't live close.
    I remember loving that street too, such a cute downtown in Fredericton.

  33. I saw a lot of things I like, if it is or around shopping I'm liking it these days as long as they have the heat on. I've picked up a favourite and that is the wooden door with the coat hooks on it. The tea light holders are festive also and you could change the time of year with a ribbon, how creative. I made those for my daughter's wedding if you remember. How have you been, I have some catching up to do, talk soon.

  36. Hi sweet Pam!
    I guess I would never leave that shop, I'm so glad I'm very far away! I have enough C'mas stuff and I'm hardly in the mood, but somehow I'm half way there! Making my Tksgiving table first. I am very traditional with my C'mas colors, but yes, sometimes I go different like with the aqua. I so love it when you visit, thanks so much!

  39. I spotted you right away! What a wonderful place to shop and to get ideas. We don't have as many of the neat shops like that here in Florida. We have lots of them in NC and I miss them. I can only think of one here and I may run over there tomorrow to see what's new. Enjoy your weekend!

  41. It's hard to believe that Chritmas is almost here, time to get shopping. That looks like my kind of store too with a lot of gift ideas and hard to find items. I like to sell my cutting boards to stores like this one.

    I enjoyed reading your blogs and all the nice pictures.
