Good Fences #7

While in Chilliwack, BC last July to attend my nephew's wedding I had to use the bathroom had to take a photo of the outhouse at the Heritage Park site where the wedding was to be held.   You know I love cedar rail fences and I love this design for one.  (the outhouse was out of order)

Another stretch of the fence was this cute white picket one.  Of course hubby and I had to have our photo taken next to the sign bearing the creek's (and our) name.  :)

I took this photo of this nice old cedar rail fence down the road from our house.  The view isn't bad either.

I'm joining Theresa at "The Run*A*Round Ranch Report" for
Good Fences.  This is a great link party sharing fence photos from all around the world.  I hope you will visit or join in.

Have a great day!

Blessings,
Pamela

  21. What lovely fences and the outhouse- oh my! I have used them before..oh so many years ago..and I guess I would consider the ones at the lake to also be outhouses...even though they are more modern. LOL!

  23. Wonderful old out-house, you don't see old wooden ones like that very often these days! Would make a great photo framed for a bathroom! Lovely fences, too - the view is wonderful.

  24. The old outhouse is cool! Love the fence shots, and your gorgeous view! It is also nice to see a shot of you and your hubby! Have a great evening and weekend ahead!

  25. I think that outhouse has seen a lot of use and is actually in a nice weathered state, isn't it? You can't beat a sun bleached split cedar rail fence for bringing back memories of long ago, and how fun is that to have your photo taken by Gordon creek!

  26. that is quite the rustic outhouse beside the fence .. and you couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a photo taken at Gordon Creek ... perfect souvenir

  27. Hi Pamela, the fences are wonderful. Actually the cedar split rail fence is my favorite! It is so rustic. And to be able to see an outhouse these days is pretty unique!! I have never liked outhouses since I was a young girl ! But I want to show this one to my granddaughter so she will know what they look like. Also, I am so glad you had your picture taken with the Gordon Creek sign...neat idea. Have a great weekend. It is getting nicer here ...finally. We had sun all day today and it was warmer.
