raindrops on tulips

The weekend was mostly cloudy and cool.  Showers on Friday evening, so so weather with a few sunny breaks on Saturday and Sunday.   Today it's pouring rain.   We are definitely hoping for a better June with more sunshine and warmth.

I went for a little walk Saturday morning across the road and down the lane and took lots of pictures that I will share soon.

A sneek peek.

I hope your weekend has been perfect no matter the weather.

Have a beautiful week.

Blessings.
Pam

  2. Lovely! You're getting some terrific "stormy weather" photos! I happen to prefer diffused lighting on overcast days for flower photos.

  3. The tulips are so pretty! I love forget me nots. Lovely view there. It's too warm here already. 26 at the moment, going up to 30 this afternoon. Looks like its going to be another scorcher summer here in Ontario.

  11. Lovely photos Pamela . . . I love seeing rain drop flowers. If only the sprinkles would be few and the bright spots more!

  12. Bright sun here today...I can not believe it!!!! Warm breeze. I love your pics with the rain drops on the flowers but the "forget-me-nots" are my favorite. I used to have them. I don't know where they went? Hope they start your new deck soon. You are going to enjoy it so much.

  14. There is nothing more beautiful than flowers with water droplets....these are ALL just heavenly, Pam! I was out taking pics of some of my flowers this morning but had to create my own "rain" with a spray bottle :) It has been fabulous weather here in NC but supposed to have rain this week....we could use some! Hope you having a good Memorial Day!

  16. The tulips are pretty, even more so with some raindrops on them. We had a nice hot weekend and calling for thundershowers tomorrow, which I hope we get because we need some rain.
Nice hosta too, I just bought 3 more today. :-)

  17. Beautiful tulips, Pam. The second one is my favorite! It's rainy today but we had beautiful, warm weather all last week and weekend. I've been outside a lot cleaning up the gardens.
    Have a great week!

  19. Beautiful photos, Pamela! My husband and I enjoyed our week away in California for all the sun, although San Francisco was chilly! Denver had thunderstorms all week while we were away, but since there was drought here in the past few years all the rain was welcomed. I hope June will bring us both more pleasant weather@

  29. Pamela, your pictures are just wonderful. You must have a good camera to get those shots. Raindrops on tulips or any flower is so pretty. As long as the raindrops don't keep coming down upon our heads, eh? Hope your week is going well and I am sure looking forward to warmer temps by the end of the week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  30. The sun finally came out late this afternoon. Hope that better weather is headed your way. One thing, the tulips probably love the cooler weather. The rest of us would like some warmth and sunshine. Hang in there!

  31. We're in the 70s and 80s! Hard to believe after the loooooong winter. Love that hosta shot. Don't you just love watching them unfurl in the springtime. I have a huge-leaf hosta that is unfurling right now, next to the bleeding heart. I was going to divide that hosta but was warned that, unlike the regular hosta, this one will die if you try to divide it. Too bad. Have a wonderful day.
