snowy beauty

When we had our foot of snowfall last week I took a little walk along the road and got some pictures.  Above is a little brook that is still open and it was flowing a lot that day.  I could hear the water trickling as it came from under the road culvert.

This is the edge of a nearby field where the brook runs through the trees on the right.  I like the colours of the tan grasses and the burdocks against the snow.

I love this little corner of the field.  I will do a post with the four seasons of this corner some day.  The stark trees against the snow and sky appeal to me.

The view of the lane from the road.  It was too deep to walk down here that day.  I may have to wait until spring.

Looking across the fields, valley and hills.

There are fences in each of these photos ~ some you can see and some you can't for the trees, brush and snow in the way.  I'm linking with Good Fences.  There are some great photos there from all over so pop by for a visit if you have time.

Blessings,
Pam

  24. It IS amazing how a good coating of snow seems to change everything. We were in Cleveland for Thanksgiving and got a good 6" of snow!! I'm a Fla. girl, now living in Ga. and didn't see snow until I was 21 y/o.- still get all excited.
Lovely picture of the snow in the gully.
