more Alberta farms and fences

I'm continuing on with the fence theme from our Alberta trip.  We pulled off at another driveway next to a farm field and some nice barbed wire fencing with cedar posts.

I'm not sure what the orange boxes are on the fence posts.  I thought they were birdhouses but this one has a hole on the front and you can see right through it.

O'er hill and dale...the road is straight but dippy.

Mountains and hay bales.

Linking with GOOD FENCES.

It's our Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada with the holiday on Monday.  Looking forward to family gatherings, good food and great fellowship.  I was out for a fall colours drive yesterday that I will post about next week.  I wish all my Canadian blogger friends a very blessed Thanksgiving.
Gobble til you wobble!  :)

Blessings,
Pam

Do you think maybe those are bluebird boxes? They love the fields...and did they all have the back door missing?
