Good Fences # 9

This is the new corner fence in our neighbour's back yard.   A
crow was perched on it in the drizzle and fog the other day.

We will add some to the left side to demarcate our corner and also build one on the other corner of our lot.  I love cedar rail fences!

I'm joining the meme Good Fences over at TexWis Girl's blog, The Run*Around* Ranch Report.

Thanks for visiting.

Blessings,
Pamela

  1. Nice shot of the crow and the fence. Curious as to why it's just a triangle portion and not fully enclosing an area.

  16. I love the idea of a corner fence. It marks the spot but with a touch of rustic beauty. I understand through experience the need to "mark" your spot and this is so much better than a big ugly fence....especially in the countryside.

  17. There's nothing like a rustic cedar rail fence, a nostalgic reminder of my grandmother's farm.

  21. A very nice way to mark out the corner. Crows like to sit around in style.

  22. A rustic cedar fence like that has such character, even without the crow character on top.
