the barn collective #5

I took this photo on a rainy Sunday a few weeks ago while we were driving by.  The black clouds, the red and white barn and the harvested golden field really stood out.  It is a drive by cell phone shot and there is a water drop on the window in the cloud but I love the colours!  I have taken a lot of photos of this barn the past couple years usually with my cell phone, as this one was.

I must have had a second photo on my phone with a bit different angle and when I edited it in Waterlogue I noticed the difference.  I like the pretty fall colours in it with this app.

I am linking with The Barn Collective #5 at Rose Street Reflections.  Amy took over this meme from the former Barn Charm one.  Why don't you join in with a barn picture or visit and see barns from all over.

We have had 4 days of cloud, rain and wind, drizzle and fog.  Monday is to be the same.  The sun peeked out for 5 minutes this afternoon.  I hope your weather is a bit brighter than ours.  :)  Have a wonderful week ahead.

Blessings,
Pam

  5. Wow, that's a wonderful photo, and the Waterlogue app one is so lovely. The clouds are threatening and I hope they soon blow away. We've had rain and then some sunshine today. More rain is forecast this week.

  6. Heavenly days! I love the photo that you did in the Waterlogue. It looks so similar to the water colors that my mother used to do It is so pretty. I would look lovely framed in a beautiful frame. Just my opinion. You are always doing something exciting. It is wonderful to read your blog!

  7. That would be quite a shot with any camera - love the contrasts of those colours: moody sky, golden crop, bright red barn. And it translates well into a painting!

Not to make you jealous or anything . . .
Glorious weather here this weekend. Blue skies, windy toss to the leaves, 60-70 degrees, (I hope you can compute to what that would be for you) . . . such a treat it was!

  35. Awesome photo, and I love the water colour effect. Cindy has made me turn around many a time to get those barn photos. They have quite an addictive charm. We are almost out of Alberta. I don't imagine we will be seeing many barns in the rockies.
Thanks for following Cindy on our adventure....Guy
